Thoughts On Returning Home

I'm home, safe and sound. Doug is still at work so I've been trying to refocus on just being here. There have been a lot of changes in the past four weeks. We've been working on our house over the past couple of years and he made some major breakthroughs while I was gone. The living room is painted and the flooring in the living room and kitchen put down. It looks so different. I think I'm going to have to live with this for awhile.

I had a long drive today. Made a couple of quick stops but pretty much stayed on the road. I hit a major thunder storm near Flagstaff and had to pull over for awhile.

About 30 miles from home there was a major accident. An eighteen wheeler and a car. They were just loading people on the stretchers when I got there. I realized that was the only accident I saw the entire time I was on the road. How amazing is that. I pray those people are okay.

No pictures tonight. Just wanted to check in. I'll be back in full swing soon. Thanks to all for the wishes for my safe journey. They worked well.
